Short Blurb:
How would you live if you knew the day you’d die?
Parvin Blackwater believes she has wasted her life. At only seventeen, she has one year left according to the Clock by her bedside. In a last-ditch effort to make a difference, she tries to rescue Radicals from the government’s crooked justice system. But when the authorities find out about her illegal activity, they cast her through the Wall — her people’s death sentence. What she finds on the other side about the world, about eternity, and about herself changes Parvin forever and might just save her people. But her Clock is running out.

LOVE this site, DEAN!!! So excited and proud of you, my friend!
Thank you, Jennifer! I owe so much of this to you for taking me to my first writing conference and stirring up the “serious writer” in me. 🙂
Great job on the site Nadine and the blurb from the book has me intrigued!
Thank you, Connie, I’m glad to hear it! 🙂
Hey Nadine! Your book sounds excellent. I’m looking forward to checking it out!

Thank you, Carol! I’m still tossing around the idea of a blog tour, so I’ll be sure to let you know. 🙂 That’s sweet of you to offer!
Just wondering why a 17-year-old has but one year to live has me immensely intrigued. How dystopic can a society get? Well played – heretofore I’ve gotten everything from MLP on Kindle and will do so with this when it becomes available by that means.
If I may:

I’m very much enjoying “A Time to Die.” I found a verse for you while reading my NIV today:
Ecc. 3:19-20 “Man’s fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath…All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.”
I should be very happy to have accomplished a book like yours. Maybe someday I will.
I just finished reading your book and LOVED it! You have such a tremendous gift. When will the next book be coming? I am so curious what Jude meant about seeing Parvin again…..?
I’m in a book club at my school, and we read one to two books each quarter. This quarter, the teacher in charge of the group told us we were going to read “A Time to Die.” I was on of the last people to get a copy of your book, and once I started reading I couldn’t stop! I got so lost in the plot and I felt as if I was Parvin myself, your book is so well written! I just recently finished the second book in the series, “A Time to Speak,” and literally CANNOT wait to read the concluding trilogy! Both of these books were by FAR the best novels that I have ever read! Please keep writing more after the series is completed!!!
Anyways, I am currently writing a book of my own…any tips??
I really hope you get this message–I would love to hear from you!
You’re such a sweetie! 🙂 Thank you for your comment! I’ve sent you an e-mail. Let me know if you can’t find it. 🙂
