Follow me. For the next two months, we will wander onto the unknown paths of A Time to Die. I expect we’ll meet new characters, foreign places, wondrous inventions, and maybe a little danger…

Character Interview #4 — Skelley Chase
Incredible fan art by Angel Roman
.
Hi Mr. Chase!
Ah yes, hello. I’d like a double cappuccino, extra dry, breve, please.
Oh…no, sorry I’m not a waitress. I’m here to interview you.
*sigh* I see.
Um, thank you for letting me host you on my blog. Tell me a little about yourself.
I’m not letting you do anything. You’re interviewing me on your own…without my consent.
I apologize. I didn’t mean to offend you, I just thought —
I’m not offended. I don’t get offended.
Okay, great! So will you tell us a little about yourself?
No.
You’re a biographer, right? And quite famous, I hear.
. . .
Um…I heard you’ve taken on Parvin’s biography as your next project. What potential did you see in her story?
. . .
Am I wasting your time?
Ah, finally, a sensible question. Yes…you are.
My apologies. How about we end with one last question — do you have a life motto?
Yes.
…and what is it?
That’s two questions.
*Deep breath* Thank you for your time, Mr. Chase. I hope you allow us to interview again.
This interview would have been much more successful if you’d been a waitress, I think.

Why a lemon for Parvin?
I tried and tried to contact Mr. Chase, but he refused to answer. *sigh* Sorry, Stacy! Maybe you’ll find a reason mentioned in the book. [wink]
Yes! 🙂 Really liked Skelley Chase’s character!
Oh good! You’ll be seeing more of him in book 2. 😉
This cracked me up. Even as an antagonist, he’s funny and I kind of like him. He’s so suave and confident.
LOL, me too, Bethany. He’s fun to write. 😀
How was that I missed this post? haha, not a lot information but a lot of Mr. Chase’s strange personality here…

Thanks so much for featuring my fanart 🙂
Thank you for creating the awesome fan art! And letting me share it! (and put it on my pinterest board whenever I need inspiration. 😉 )
Haha, wow. Sounds like Skelly Chase is quite the character. I can’t wait to read about him. 🙂
Can’t wait to hear what you think! Also can’t wait to delve into the world you created. Hurray for book releases!
I’m here reviewing older blogs that I missed when they were new. 🙂 My question for Skelly would have been if he had children. But he *certainly* wouldn’t have answered something so personal! 😀 I guess I have to wait until I’m through reading Book 3. Love the blogs!
Don’t mind me…just creepin’ in the archives. 😉
Just found this post and I gotta say that Skelley is one of my favorite characters from the series (though, really, I love ’em all). I dig antagonists/villains that are super cool and get a bit of a redemption arc and, yeah. He’s great. 🙂
