In 2003, I started keeping a book journal. In this small journal, I recorded every single book I read, including the page numbers and the date finished. My own paper-form of Goodreads!
Sometimes it’s embarrassing to look at what I devoured as a romance-hungry teenager, but now I look back with pride at how my preferences have developed over these past 10 years. This year, I read 32 books. Here are ten of my favorites from 2013:
