Release Date for A Time to Speak!

You asked. I postponed, tried to distract you, procrastinated…

…and you were rabidly patient with me. At last, I can reveal to you the release date for A Time to Speak! (Tweet this)

But the advantage of being forced to wait so long in a cloud of vague “Autumn” references, is that now…the release is closer than it would have been if I’d told you earlier! (See what I did there?)

Okay, without further ado…

…the release date…

…is…

Release Date

Ahh!

It’s on a Friday, which means that you can spend the whole weekend reading it! It also takes place in October, which means I plan to have all sorts of autumn decorations going on in my house. The book picks up in early October, so it’s perfect timing!

Not just that but…

A Time to Speak is available for pre-order! (tweet this)

See? I planned two surprises for you because I forced you to wait so long. All you have to do is click here or here or on the picture below to pre-order the beautiful, thick (but not too thick) continuation to Parvin’s story. *squeal*

We planned this date carefully. (Okay, okay, I had no say in it whatsoever, I was simply told.) so that you could order extra copies in time for Christmas. This release date is actually helping you prepare for Christmas in advance! 😉

So what’s next?

I’m starting the editing process for book three, but it’s too early for you to get excited about that. I get it, you’re focused on book two. 😛 I’ll be entering into launch plans these next couple months, which will include giveaways, new promotion ideas, possibly a launch team, and a Facebook party!

So be honest now…

Q: Who’s excited, and how do you plan to celebrate?

Some celebration options:

  • Read or re-read A Time to Die.
  • Have a major A Time to Speak readathon on October 17th.
  • Go climb a giant ice cliff with an ice pick.
  • Dress up like Parvin and go fight wolves
  • Make popcorn and wait for the A Time to Die movie to come out. 😛

Q: Do you think I should do a launch team for A Time to Speak?

  2. This is awesome! I’m so excited! And I’m totally going to climb a giant ice cliff with a ice pick. 😉

  3. Well, dang! Maybe I *do* need that Parvin outfit so I can go fight wolves! 😉

Congrats on the release date. Looking forward to reading it.

  4. *squeals* A Time to Speak has a release date!!!! Yay! And it is only a couple of weeks before my birthday! *Happy dance*

I plan on re-reading A Time To Die! YES!! Do a Launch team please 😀 😀

  6. Yay! I just finished A Time to Die a few days ago and it was absolutely amazing. I’m still reeling from the pure genius of the book’s premise, and I can’t wait for A Time to Speak. I was actually just wondering when it would come out, so this is perfect timing. I say yes to the launch team! Depending on your requirements I might not be able to be part of it because I don’t have Facebook or Amazon, but I do have my blog and Goodreads, and I hope to post a review of A Time to Die anyway.

    • Wow, thank you Ana! 😀 I’m so glad you liked it! I’m looking forward to your review. 😀

Regarding launch team, even if you’re not on the actual “team”, I’d love for you to still help promote it and take part in giveaways and things. I love your willingness to participate. I hope you still apply when I open up applications for the team! 🙂

  7. YES!!! You should do a launch team!! 😀

  8. YAY!!!! I am so excited!!! I loved A Time to Die and totally plan to reread it before the release date! I can’t wait for A Time to Speak! Thank you for the amazing book! *retreats into a corner to fangirl more*

    • Yay!!! I can’t WAIT for you to read A Time to Speak, Lily! I had far too much fun writing that one. I still love reading through it (which reminds me…I need to do that this week. Hm…)

Can I join your fangirl corner? 😉

Oh, and if you think of it (and are willing), would you consider writing a brief review of ATtD on Amazon and/or Goodreads? That would be EVER so helpful and will get the book into the hands of more readers! *shameless begging is over*

Thank you for reading, Lily! It’s comments like yours that leave me totally squealing. 😀

  9. Hurray! So exciting! Argh, I think I will be at a fundraising banquet that evening, so if there’s a Facebook party I may miss it – waaaah. You have such awesome Facebook parties! 🙂

    • Aw thanks Bethany! I’m thinking that, if I do a FB party, it would probably be the week after the release — a Tuesday, maybe — because Fridays are often busy for people. Haven’t set the date yet, but I’m willing to bet it won’t be on the ACTUAL release date. We’ll see.

      There’s hope! 😉

  10. Bring it on! It just amazes me all that you have accomplished! I think we should celebrate in all of those ways and your launch team was awesome so yes to that too!

  11. Yes! I am rereading A Time to Die so that it’s fresh in my mind. I must say, I’ve never wanted to know what was in Reid’s journal as much as I do right now! I’m burning with curiosity.
Excited and eager for Book 2!

  12. Yes! You should have a launch team! You might also consider a book trailer and some read-alouds of excerpts via Periscope.

I’d volunteer to be on the launch team. Yeah, I’m the creepy 40-something dad that likes to point my teen girls to good YA fiction.

    • That’s a good idea, John! I like the idea of doing some read-alouds.

And the launch team applications will be open to anyone! 😀 I don’t think pointing your teen girls to good YA fiction is creepy at all. 😀

  13. A Time to Speak! xD *does a happy dance* And a Launch Team! *does another* I’m so excited, Nadine. 🙂

I love hearing from you!
