Well hey there, Ninjas!
I’m off teaching at the One Year Adventure Novel conference right now (aka: eating pizza and hanging out with awesome cosplay bookworms.) So I’m going to keep this short. A Time to Rise officially has a release date!! I’ve been telling people, “Sometime in the fall” for far too long. Now, at last, you can start the countdown.
So . . . the moment you’ve all been waiting for . . .
Just kidding. That’s not nearly as fun. 😉 Okay, okay, I’ll get to it. (As if you can’t just scroll down and skip my silly delaying . . . but that’s no fun.)
The official release date for A Time to Rise is . . .
[insert confetti and celebratory music here]
See what I did? I made this little clock photo with the release date. See? SEE? *calms down*
Tada! October 14, 2016! That’s only 120 days away! *weeps* We can do this, my precious hazelnuts . . . we can do this. We will wait together. And while you wait, you can add A Time to Rise to your Goodreads. Or you can enter the Goodreads giveaway for A Time to Die and the one for A Time to Speak.
BUT, in other news:
YESTERDAY I SAW THE COVER FOR A TIME TO RISE.
Yes. The cover. Yesterday. A Time to Rise. IT’S AMAZING. I can’t stop screaming. I love it! In fact, the cover designer has to redo it because I drooled over it so much I drowned my computer. And all the files inside. So, while the 120 days may seem FOREVER away (compared to the life of Elrond, 120 days ain’t nuthin’) I have juicy tidbits to help with the wait.
Starting tomorrow I’ll be brainstorming and planning and talking with Gilead/Enclave’s fabulous marketing superstar about the cover reveal. If you’re interested in getting in on the action and maybe helping reveal via your blog, consider joining my Street Team!
That’s it for now! As much as I’d like to crank out 1,000 words of bookish awesomeness for a blog post (I’m not short on ideas, that’s for sure) I must get my beauty sleep so that I can wake up looking like a beast and teach young padowans about writing.
I love my life.
So…is October 14 too far away? Or just right?
What are you going to do to help cope while waiting for its release?
